The Grateful Dead Generation Isn’t Dead Yet

Back in the 70’s and the early 80’s, there were so many hipsters out there that it was considered weird to not be one of them. Rock and roll was a way of life and even though those times are past, there are still so many people out there who stand for art and music, in the face of a society that just wants them to be ‘normal’. Considering how the current pop generation has strayed far from art and the love for true music, now is the best time for the hipsters to come out and rebel once again.

Now don’t get us wrong, we don’t want people to start going out there and start causing a commotion, we just need people who can remind us that it’s okay to be colourful in this back and white world of ours. Hippies are horribly misunderstood people; we’re told that they’re dirty druggies that hate everyone with them but that’s hardly ever the case. You see, hippies are all about love and they’ll be more than happy to talk to you about what they stand for and why they do the things they do.

They’re very nice and inclusive people, unlike what most of us are taught to believe. So why do they get such a bad press? Because they’re different and we can’t stand different. If you wear colourful trippy clothes, you’ll definitely get some looks but then again you’ll be inspiring a lot of people to be themselves as well, and that’s a very noble thing to do. You can get info on boho and hippie wear. You’ll be surprised at the amount of awesome colourful clothes of all kinds you can find there.
